Please do not
- Describe us as working across ten districts. The catchment touches ten; we work in three, and the difference is the honest part of the story.
- Use a survival figure without its date. Every number on this site carries one.
- Recolour, stretch or set the logo on a background that leaves it illegible. Files are supplied in SVG so there is no need to.
- Crop a photograph so that a person becomes identifiable who was not identifiable in the original frame.
- Present our images of degradation as being of a named individual's land. They are not captioned that way for a reason.
Photographs, and what we can license
Photographs we took ourselves are free for editorial use with the credit line River Rwizi Charity Conservation. Ask and we will send full-resolution files.
Several images on this site were taken by other photographers and are used under Creative Commons licences. Those licences travel with the image, our permission does not extend to them, and the photographer and licence are named beside each one. If you use one, credit as that licence requires rather than as we would.
Photographs of identifiable people are supplied only where consent covers the use you have in mind. Consent to appear on this website is not automatically consent to appear in a newspaper, and we will go back and ask rather than assume.
