Contact
Talk to us
The office is at Biharwe, on the Mbarara–Masaka road. Most of the team are in the field on weekdays, so a call or WhatsApp reaches us faster than email.
Send a message
Fill in what you can. The more specific you are about place and purpose, the faster we can put you with the right person.
Getting to the right person
Who handles what, and how long we take
Every message goes through the same form. Choosing the right subject decides who reads it first, and in two cases it decides whether staff see it at all.
| If you are writing about | It reaches | We aim to reply |
|---|---|---|
| Volunteering or a planting day | The programme team | Two working days |
| A donation, membership or a receipt | Finance and administration | Two working days |
| Press or media | The Executive Director directly | One working day |
| A site, a buffer agreement or your land | The programme lead | Two working days |
| Research or a data request | The programme lead | About a week |
| Partnership, corporate or funding | The Executive Director | Two working days |
| A complaint or safeguarding concern | The board, not staff | Acknowledged in five working days |
If we go quiet
Chase us. During a planting window the whole team can be at a site for days and email waits. A WhatsApp message reaches somebody who is standing in a river; an email reaches a laptop in an empty office.
What we do with your details
We answer your message and keep the correspondence. You are not added to the newsletter unless you ask, and your details are never passed to anybody else. The privacy notice sets out the rest.
Visiting
The office is at Biharwe on the Mbarara–Masaka road and visitors are welcome. Call first: on most weekdays there is more of this organisation on a riverbank than in the building.
